Welcome to The Little Diner, your friendly roadside stop located just off the A2 near Boughton-Under-Blean. Owned and run by Nick, The Little Diner is a charming, small diner that serves up comforting, homemade breakfast and lunch dishes.
Open from 7am to 2pm on weekdays and 7am to 1pm on Saturdays, we pride ourselves on offering fresh, high-quality meals to start your day right.
Our menu features a range of favorites, but what sets us apart is our commitment to using locally sourced, farm-fresh ingredients. All of our meat is sourced from a local butcher, our fresh bread is delivered daily and even our eggs are straight from nearby farms. We believe in supporting local suppliers to ensure every meal we serve is as fresh and flavorful as possible. One of our most popular items is our homemade scotch eggs, made from scratch and prepared with the finest ingredients — a true taste of tradition.
In addition to our diner, Nick also offers JD Catering (Just Dandy Catering) for events, providing personalised catering services for gatherings of all sizes. Whether you’re looking for the full burger van experience or a BBQ setup, Nick’s homemade foods and attention to detail ensure your event will be a success.

How Our Scotch Eggs are Made
Nick’s homemade scotch eggs are crafted with care, using the best local ingredients.
He starts by boiling fresh farm eggs to perfection. Then, he wraps each egg in seasoned sausage meat, made from high-quality butcher sausages.
To give the scotch eggs a crispy golden finish, Nick makes breadcrumbs from leftover fresh bread, ensuring nothing goes to waste. Each scotch egg is then coated and fried to create a delicious, homemade treat that's full of flavour.
